|Recommended: NoMoney grab — I always heard good things until I moved to heritage. Since I've been there every semester I've become more and more frustrated with the managers and the way things are run. I did like the in-house laundry and the storage, but everything is so overcharged, and altho the day today was not bad it was frustrating and way too difficult to get anything with your account done. And while it's fairly cheap it doesn't stay that way cause unless you are careful they will add as many extra charges to you as they can. For example every white glove I have been charged for things that I had reported for already being there. And after doing that for two semesters straight they still tried to charge me each time for permanent damage that had been there since before I even got there. The only good things are the ward, other tenants.

|Recommended: NoUnpleased — I’m a sophomore and this is my first time living in student housing and to be honest, it’s deterred me from ever doing that again. I moved in because I was placed in an FHE group there and the girls became really good friends, but living there was a whole other story. Toilets constantly broken, never got my smoke detector fixed after multiple requests from myself and my roommates, sink sprayer was the same deal, and worst of all, I got screwed over on my lease. I only agreed to live in Heritage if I could help out a friend by buying her lease, including her parking pass. I was promised all this and we even set up a zoom meeting with a manager to go over the contracts. She never showed up and stopped answering her phone, and the next semester she wasn’t even in management anymore They didn’t have our leases at all connected and they sold my parking pass I had to leave for work everyday at 7am, sometimes 6 30am and I had to walk all the way to La Jolla in negative degree weather because someone didn’t do the paperwork right. And I think the whole “Find a friend that can give you a ride to your car ” thing is a terrible excuse for not having sufficient parking for the complex. I travel and work a lot and so I wasn’t even in the apartment very much, but even sometimes when I was in town, I just stayed with my parents. The nice things were that the people there were nice and the ward was really cool. I tried not to be negative about the situation the whole semester, but it didn’t help that the apartment wasn’t very nice, way too expensive for what it is, and I was too busy to even need to live on campus. I could go on but I’ll just stop there.

|Recommended: YesI love it here — The reason why I love it here is because the community is great and welcoming and the apartment is across the street from campus and the management is great and very welcoming and nice.

|Recommended: YesYou get what you pay for — The overall quality isn't horrible but it's not as up-to-date as other apartments. The amenities here are pretty standard but the location is pretty amazing. There are usually decent activities set up every now and then and the people there are friendly for the most part.

|Recommended: YesMost social appartments — I love these apartments yes the walls are thin but everyone is so social and kind to each other it's amazing 10 10 would recommend these apartments. They are also super close to campus which is super convenient.

|Recommended: YesAbsolute DREAM single student on-campus complex — It's so fun the management is phenomenal and the complex is in the PRIME location. The wards are great and I love that this complex doesn't have the hotel vibe- real people live here and they like to have fun

|Recommended: YesGood Location, Great Time — I love living here It is so close to campus and to other complexes so I can go to class and visit my friends with ease. The ward is awesome, and my roommates were great There were a lot of requests at the beginning of the semester so it took a while for some of the requests to be fulfilled. But, the management is super understanding and respectful and when we did have maintenance issues, they were accommodating. The people here are super nice and make it a wonderful environment.

|Recommended: NoSuch an awful complex, only upside is being so close to campus — Management is god awful. Can't manage to help you figure out your finances they just bring more and more into light after telling you you're fine. They charge you an absurd amount of money for clean checks every time even if you do your job. All they care about is taking your money and spending it on awful activities. They don't have any consideration for their tenants. Never live here, you will put in a maintenance request for something that needs to be fixed immediately such as a leaking refrigerator and they won't come and even check on it for an entire year. The apartments are old and the appliances are even older.

I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations. It's hard to learn the in and outs of ledgers and rent payments that are due (for you as the tenant and me as the manager.) I totally understand the feel of everyone wanting to take your money but I can promise it is not that way and it NEVER will be. We are honest and fair and if there is ever a mistake on my part, it's corrected immediately. Please contact me so we can straighten things out. I'd love to sit down and make sure we are on the same page.
As far as maintenance goes, we are replacing our maintenance staff and we hope that area will improve tremendously. We already had a team of 6 go door to door today to make repairs. That will give us a good hard reset so moving forward all work orders will be addressed within 24 hours. I hope I have eased your worries, but again, let me know when we can sit down and talk about anything else you are upset about. I will do everything in my power to make it better!

|Recommended: YesFirst-year student Good size price, helpful staff — There are some limits with the pandemic restrictions, but Heritage goes out of its way to make activities and events for its tenants. It's my first semester on campus and I wouldn't want any other place else to start The noise levels are acceptable and their student snow team goes above and beyond. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well-sized and there's usually good water heating. Heritage provides Internet with two networks, a TV, and a 21 cu. ft. fridge freezer in every apartment but I recommend utilizing cabinet space to full capability . The maintenance has done well at keeping up with and fixing any problems no plumbing or electricity problems apart from a bathroom wall that needs repair All my roommates have already been here for 1 to 5 semesters and enjoyed it. I'd fully consider finishing the year here.
